Rudi Goldman

Communications specialist
Working in Europe since 1990, Rudi Goldman, founder and managing director of Media in English, understands the perspectives on both sides of the Atlantic. His 30+ years as a communicator includes the production of many successful and award-winning television programs from Los Angeles, New York, London and Hilversum. Goldman formerly served as Director of Programming for the Walt Disney Company in London. Goldman's media training experience includes coaching Ambassadors, as well as, executives and spokespersons of multi-national corporations and startups. He has individually trained well over 400 top international business/government leaders.

 

Crisis management insight
During his military service, Rudi Goldman gained valuable knowledge, experience and judgment in handling crisis situations. Captain Goldman piloted USAF transport aircraft in worldwide tactical operations, including 100 combat missions in Vietnam. Goldman now provides crisis management consulting and crisis communications training to international companies and organizations.  Crisis communications is Goldman's forte.

 

Presentation coach
Goldman has personally coached scores of top corporate executives including the Managing Directors, CEOs and/or board member executives of 3M Netherland, ABN Amro Bank (Switzerland), Autoriteit Financiële Markten, European Climate Exchange, Imation International, Infiniti Europe, Manpower Inc., Mn Services, Nissan Europe and TNT Post.  In addition, Goldman coached the former U.S. and Japanese Ambassadors to the Netherlands.

Gisele Burnett

Communications Specialist 

Gisele Burnett has more than twenty years of experience within the communications field, and has held a number of senior management positions in the broadcasting sector. As General Manager of UPC’s Pay TV division in the Netherlands, she was responsible for running a channel business across Europe, with emphasis on building distribution and revenue streams in central and Eastern Europe. She was formerly appointed Director of Programming for the National Geographic Channel and had a strategic role in launching this channel and TV brand in Europe. Prior to this she was Vice President of Acquisitions and Programme Business Development for the Discovery Channel, with responsibility for acquiring content rights for the channel‘s European networks. Voted one of the top ten women in international television by the UK broadcast sector in 2000, she has a sound knowledge of the international television market and a keen understanding of the implementation of TV brands in Europe. She currently provides a number of consultancy services in both media and non-media related fields.

Debbie Lewis-Wirtjes

Communications Specialist 

Debbie Lewis-Wirtjes has over 10 years experience in the field of communications. She has worked as a prime time newscaster and broadcast journalist and later became the Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce of Trinidad and Tobago. She has served on many private sector committees advising the government of Trinidad and Tobago and has represented the AmCham as well as her native country at several international conferences in Europe, USA and South America.  Debbie is a Director of  a company that provides marketing and corporate communications services to businesses that operate within a multi-cultural environment. The company also specializes in Digital Asset Management Implementation issues.

Janet McDonald

Communications Specialist
Janet McDonald is an accomplished public relations and communications professional.  With more than 25 years experience in corporate, political, government and community affairs, she is a recognized leader in her field.  Associations have included major retailers such as Lord & Taylor and Bloomingdale’s; political parties in Illinois, Indiana, and New Jersey; corporations such as AT&T, Hoffman LaRoche, Summit Financial Resources, and Merck & Co.; as well as arts organizations throughout the United States including Carnegie Hall in New York City and Villa Vizcaya Foundation in Miami.  As a contributing journalist, she has written for several newspapers  in New Jersey and Florida. Her educational background includes:  BA in English, Tulane University; Masters Degree in Speech & Theatre, Indiana University; and post-graduate work, Shakespeare Institute, Stratford, England.

Lori DiVito, PhD

Communications Specialist
Lori DiVito, PhD has a background in strategic online business planning, marketing communications and business planning. With more than 18 years of experience in the Netherlands, she worked for IT multinationals and managed the marketing communications department overseeing the development and production of online and offline communication for product launches, advertising, customer relationship programs and trade marketing programs for pan-European business-to-business markets. She has specialized in the use of interactive media in communications and online business modeling. She has worked with many international companies including Sun Microsystems, ABN Amro Bouwfonds, ASML, Nokia, NEC Philips, and Hewlett Packard. In 2009, she has completed a PhD from Manchester Business School in Management and Strategy and conducts research on how high-technology firms gain and maintain competitive advantage. She is also holds a MBA with a marketing emphasis from Webster University in the Netherlands and a BA in Liberal Arts from San Francisco State University, USA.

Suzan Pecyna


Communications Specialist 
Suzan Pecyna is a strategic communications expert. Internal corporate communications is her passion. With a beginning in journalism, her 17 years of advertising, public relations, marketing and television production experience include heading up her own advertising agency in Aberdeen, Scotland. Recently, she has been actively developing communications strategies for multiple projects and programs for the oil majors BP and Shell, both in Europe and the United States. She holds an English Literature degree with Honours from Aberdeen University and a post graduate diploma in media, marketing and advertising from the CAM Foundation in London.
