Master presentation training program for Nike European Operations Netherlands B.V. top IT managers

Since the summer and early fall of 2004, Media in English has been presenting Nike European Operations Netherlands B.V. EMEA Information Technology & EMEA Program top managers with our 3-day Master Presentation Training Program. Media in English continues the project for new top mangagers through January 2007, including the training of the Director of EMEA Planning & Inventory management.  


The objective of the training is to present an introductory program in successful public performance strategies and techniques, which improves individual communication skills and helps build confidence when presenting in English. The focus of the program is to improve and professionalize communication between Nike EMEA IT & Program Management and Nike senior management.


In addition to our 2-day Intensive Program, which incorporates the use of audiovisuals in presentations, the customized training finishes with a full day of tabletop persuasion techniques and exercises.  This new offering provides some powerful answers the question:  How do I convince a decision maker to do what I want them to do, one-on-one, face-to-face?

Media training, coaching and presentation traing for Nissan Europe SAS

Since 2004, Media in English has been providing media training and presentation coaching services for Nissan Europe. The objective was to prepare spokespersons for press presentations and interviews during the launching of the Murano, Pathfinder, the 350Z Roadster, Note and the Qashqai at Pan European Test Drive events near Nice, Lisbon, Marseille and Barcelona in preparation for the 2005 Barcelona and 2006 Geneva & Paris Motor Shows.  In January 2007, Media in English presented presentation training to two senior communications department managers.

Tabletop persuasion program for eBay EU policy head

Media in English recently provided the manager of EU policy for eBay Europe with a custom-designed training to improve her one-on-one persuasive presentation skills. The highly interactive and individualized program presented persuasive presentation strategies and techniques for use during one-on-one tabletop engagements.
Infiniti Europe top management prepared for 2008 Geneva Motor Show Launch

During October 2007 through January 2008, Media in English travelled to Switzerland to provide presentation and media training for Infiniti Europe's top management in preparation for the European launch of the Infiniti at the Geneva Motor Show.  The eleven trainees included the: Regional Directors, Marketing Director, Communications Director, Customer Quality Director, Customer Service Manager, Customer Database & Survey Manager, Product Managers and Total Ownership Experience Manger.  Newly launched in Europe, the Infiniti is Nissan's luxury auto brand.

"One-on-One" Communications Workshop for eBay Europe legal team

Media in English recently provided twenty-one members of the eBay Europe legal team with a custom-designed workshop to enhance their one-on-one communications with key international audiences.  The workshop, which took place in Dublin, Ireland, was very well-received by the participants.
Media training workshop for Total in Paris

Since September 2003, Media in English has conducted media training workshops for  20+ TOTAL managers, based on general oil and chemical company issues. The workshops, held during the Total Management Group Seminar Program, were all well received.  The latest group gave the trainers an average rating of 8.6 out of a possible 10 points.  The next workshop is scheduled for March 2007.

Media and Presentation Training for the European Climate Exchange

In August of 2004, Media in English prepared Peter Koster, the CEO of the European Climate Exchange for press contacts prior to organization's Autumn launch.  During the summer of 2006, we again presented the program to the Director UK, the Commercial Director and to the Business Development & Marketing Head. 
On-Camera presentation training for ABN AMRO Bank CEO

Media in English recently provided a half-day of on-camera presentation training and interviewer training to ABN AMRO's Zurich based, International Private Clients Managing Director and Head of Training & Development. The training was in preparation for the taping of an internal video presentation. Both were enthusiastic with the progress they made.

Manpower Inc. global media training project

Media in English completed a two-phase Media Training project for 25 Manpower Inc. top managers.

 

The training was in preparation of global media interest generated by Manpower’s global public relations campaign for the expansion of its Employment Outlook Survey across 18 countries.

 

The Manpower Employment Outlook Survey provides a broad international view of employers’ projected hiring intentions and is viewed by economists and labor market experts as a highly credible and reliable indicator of future employment trends.

 

The trainings were held in the USA and the Netherlands. The objective of Media in English's training was to present a basic, introductory media presentation program in English, to multiple participants, at differing skill levels and English-language competence, with a focus on press contact regarding the global introduction of Manpower's EOS program.
