Securities institutions and consumer credit institutions are subject to supervision by the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets. AFM also supervises the Financial Information Leaflet that professionals in the financial markets are obliged to provide in respect of complex products. Investment institutions and insurance companies are also subject to supervision by AFM.
